Hey guys! I need to actually update this blog and remember I don’t just need to produce information posts – update posts are cool too, right?
A lot has been going on in my life lately! I can now say that I am officially self-employed and will be working full time on artwork and crafts which is exciting! It’s also really scary but I hope things will go okay!
I participated in Inktober again this year and although I didn’t manage to finish it, I did get a lot done! You can check out everything I drew over at my Instagram!
As you can see, I’ve been drawing a lot more fanart lately too and I really love it! I’d love to do something like a ‘fanart Friday’! Though I’ve been on a massive digimon binge lately so a lot of it might be related to that! Of course, if there’s a character you’d like to see me draw I am always open to suggestions!
I have a lot of ideas in the works and I also need to start thinking of Confuzzled art ideas for next year – that’s right, I’m attending as a dealer this year! I’m excited as I wasn’t able to go last year. I’ll be staying off site but you’ll probably still be able to find me most days at the main venue. Obviously I’ll be at my dealers table in den hours so feel free to come say hi!
Confuzzled badge pre-orders will be open either December or January once I have some examples. The theme is absolutely on point this year – video games! So I have a lot of ideas for badges I’d like to do, as well as allowing people to request their characters cosplaying their favourite video game characters. That’s gonna be lots of fun to do!
I haven’t been to any meets lately but I am hoping to start going to Brum meets again starting next year. I might also have a look around and see if there are any others close to me. I need to start making the effort to be more social!
Finally, I am thinking of starting a newsletter! It would be a collection of links to this blog (provided I update it), WIPs, events and commission opening dates. If that’s something you’d be interested in, let me know!
Thanks for reading and have an awesome weekend!
